The Lofer skiing area consists of various blue, red and black slopes. A lot of the blue slopes run parallel to the red slopes which enables big groups of skiers of different skill levels to enjoy the day together without anybody feeling under- or overwhelmed. Lofer also offers a funpark as well as a funcross track which provides off-piste fun. It is not only an ideal skiing area for families with kids, but also for advanced skiers with having 3 steep black slopes that even challenge expert skiers!
Fun and safe skilessons in Lofer
Lofer is a small but very important skiing area in Austria, as it is seen as the training center for future ski stars. It doesn’t matter whether you are a child or a grown-up and how much you already know about skiing, the ski instructors at Skischule Lofer Georg Herbstin Lofer will teach you how to safely get down every slope while still having fun.
Tyrolean coziness and food
One of the best things about Lofer is the amazing Tyrolean atmosphere. The city is home to a lot of typical chalets and houses a beautiful church in the middle of the village. The local butchers sell phenomenal "leberkäse" and "schnitzelsemmel". The restaurant Loderbichl is located on the mountain and serves typical Tyrolean Fleischkasnocken. For those of you who still have energy left after an exhausting day of skiing, Lofer offers a variety of hiking routes.
